Urban sketching

I got into urban sketching almost by accident, as I wasn't really aware of it as a concept until fairly recently. Most of my work had been done on location anyway, but I only recently discovered that a whole community exists dedicated to drawing urban life and cityscapes. Most of us live in cities anyway, so it's only natural that the first thing I'd draw outside would be streets, people and buildings. These are few select examples of city-focused illustration from around the world.
